We are delighted that you are interested in the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), especially the Rincon del Diablo Chapter. We are located in North Inland San Diego County. Our members live in the adjacent communities of Escondido, Rancho Bernardo, Poway, San Marcos, Ramona, Julian, Temecula, and Valley Center. We are a wonderfully interesting and diverse group of women of all ages, professions, and talents. You will find us friendly and looking forward to meeting our visitors. We welcome inquiries. Please contact us at: Regent Nancy Christensen or Registrar Phyllis Young.
We are proud that our chapter has received accolades in several areas: 2007 Outstanding Chapter Regent; 2007 DAR National First Place Award for Chapter Growth and Revitalization; 2009 CSSDAR Outstanding Volunteer Genealogist; and 1st Place for largest Chapter growth in a given year. The DAR is truly a special and remarkable group. It was incorporated by an Act of Congress in 1896 and currently has over 165,000 members in almost 3,000 chapters worldwide. Our national headquarters in Washington, DC, is the largest group of buildings in the world owned and operated exclusively by women. The DAR has hundreds of women in leadership positions in their chapters, their states, and on the national and international level. It is an organization in which the abilities and talents of women are unquestioned. Webmaster Web hyperlinks to non-DAR sites are not the responsibility of the
